First of all, I was able to get a narrow width and they are an excellent fit. I tried them on right out of the box and wore them all day. The gel inserts provide great cushioning and are very comfortable. I am a fast walker turned jogger and they are exactly what I wanted. Nice color too!

Heel fit but needed more toe box room. Overall if you have a narrow fore foot this shoe is for you. Size 8 ordered ran true to length. Just too narrow for me in toe box.

I had ordered another style from Asics and liked the fit so well that I tried to order a second pair, but there were none left in my size, so I tried this GT-2000. I was delighted to find that it fits very similarly: the toe box is made totally of mesh, which allows the laces to be pulled quite tight, thus keeping my feet from slipping around inside. Even my heels don't slip too badly! The only thing I had to do was buy shorter laces, as once I pulled the ones these sneakers come with tight enough to keep the shoe on my foot, they were dangling on the floor. I am so glad that Asics is willing to make 2A sneakers that actually fit those of us with truly slender feet.

I'm a fitness instructor, so I need something that is light, has great ankle support, but allows for quick turns and jumps. This shoe is excellent for the types of workouts I do.
